The Marietta Cheer program believes that cheerleading is a rewarding and exciting sport that teaches teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, leadership, school spirit, and hard work. Being chosen to represent Marietta City Schools is an honor and a privilege. All cheerleaders should serve as positive role models and leaders within their school and community. As representatives of their team, school, and community, cheerleaders are expected to adhere to a strict code of conduct and exercise good judgement- in and out of uniform. The main goal of the Marietta Cheer program is to effectively execute a school spirit program that supports the athletic teams and promotes the school itself. The highest priority should be to display and encourage school spirit and pride for Marietta High and Middle school.

Mission
To develop teams of skilled athletes that represent themselves, their team, and their school in a positive manner through spirit building initiatives, skill based competitions, and community involvement.

Vision
To have a well-developed, healthy, program with a strong, positive, reputation and a tradition of excellence.
The vision of the Marietta Cheer program is to develop strong and confident young women and men, through the sport of Cheer, preparing them for their next phase of life beyond high school. By setting high standards and expectations, the program will teach valuable life lessons: integrity, work ethic, mutual respect, accountability, and a high level of commitment. We are dedicated to building champion athletes while representing our school with enthusiasm and pride.
